Customer Testimonials

We value what our customer's have to say. Here you can read some real-life experiences from our customers.

"I just returned from Alaska after a great hunt with Tom Shankster. I was able to bag a nice black bear and my dall sheep.

I hiked some great mountains and saw some fantastic country and animals: 7 black bears, 2 grizzly bears, caribou, moose and lots of sheep. I passed on one ram on day two. It would have been a long 358 yard shot. He was a very good ram but with the distance and wind blowing 20+ miles per hour sideways to the ram I decided not to shoot.

I used a rifle but was able to sneak in to a bow-like 36 yards before taking the shot. I took him on 9/2/06 on my second to last day of hunting. He was aged at 9 1/2 years old and full curl.

The entire trip was AWESOME! Thanks Tom!"

Happy Customer

"I was able to get a very nice ram. It was the hardest hunt that I have ever been on. As you can see the scenery on the way in was spectacular. The mountain was shrouded in clouds but later in the day the clouds would lift a little off and on, and we could see the sheep feeding across the face at about the cloud line. They would be in and out of view and that helped us with the stalk.

I set up for my shot about 6:30 PM but then the clouds moved in again. After about 15 minutes (an eternity) the big ram appeared out of the clouds again and I was able to make the shot. He rolled about 300 yards down the mountain and put a divot in his horn but he is a beautiful sheep. He was 39 1/4 X 37 1/4 with 14 inch bases."
