| "I was able to get a very nice ram. It was the hardest hunt that I have ever been on. As you can see the scenery on the way in was spectacular. The mountain was shrouded in clouds but later in the day the clouds would lift a little off and on, and we could see the sheep feeding across the face at about the cloud line. They would be in and out of view and that helped us with the stalk.
I set up for my shot about 6:30 PM but then the clouds moved in again. After about 15 minutes (an eternity) the big ram appeared out of the clouds again and I was able to make the shot. He rolled about 300 yards down the mountain and put a divot in his horn but he is a beautiful sheep. He was 39 1/4 X 37 1/4 with 14 inch bases."
